RHODE ISLAND HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL
Holocaust Education & Resource Center of Rhode Island
The Holocaust Education and Resource Center of Rhode Island serves to bear witness to the Holocaust and to honor those who perished. Its members strive to reduce prejudice against all minorities by offering a variety of programs to the community, especially in the classroom. Each year, several thousand students learn not only about the experience of the Jews, but also how bigotry and hate truly affects all of us. The Holocaust Center facility houses a library, artifacts from the era, an audio-visual collection, and a memorial garden. Materials are available on loan to teachers, students, and local groups upon request.
